What is H&C?
H&C is a bathroom and plumbing brand: taps and mixers, showers, bathroom accessories and plumbing fittings, made for professional installation and long term performance. It is part of Lincor Holdings, which has been in the industry for over 30 years, with its head office in Randburg, South Africa. Its tagline is "Simply the best."
What products does H&C make?
Taps and mixers in the Bella, Kariba Black, Art, Breo, Divo and Houseproud ranges, with Kariba, Dura, Saro, Air and Breo Brushed Bronze in some countries, plus commercial and medical taps; shower roses, arms, hand showers and hoses; bathroom accessories such as towel rails, holders and soap baskets; and plumbing fittings including valves, wastes, traps, braided hoses, garden taps and toilet accessories. Genuine spare parts are listed for many of them.
Is every H&C product available in every country?
No. H&C is stocked in Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia, and each country's stockists carry their own selection from the range. Botswana has 150 products, Namibia has 245 products, Zimbabwe has 96 products and Zambia has 108 products. Each country page lists exactly what is available there.

What are H&C taps made of?
The core tap ranges, Bella, Kariba Black, Art, Breo, Divo and the commercial and medical taps, have bodies of DZR brass: brass made to resist dezincification, a slow corrosion that strips the zinc out of ordinary brass. Houseproud is solid brass. The chrome finish on the core ranges is 200 hour salt spray tested.
What guarantee do H&C taps and mixers have?
Guarantees are set per range and shown on each product page, as printed in the H&C catalogue. The Bella, Kariba Black, Art, Breo and Divo ranges carry a 10 year guarantee (Kariba Black: 10 years on the body and 5 years on the powder coated finish), and Houseproud carries 5 years.
Are H&C taps JASWIC accepted?
Yes, the core ranges are. Bella and Kariba are JASWIC accepted to SANS 1480 as single lever mixers, and Art, Breo and Divo to SANS 226 as Class 2 screw down taps. Each product page shows its approval.
How can I tell if a product is available in my country?
Every product page has an "Available in" list showing the countries that stock it. A product that is only stocked in some countries says so, for example "Only stocked in Namibia".
What if the product I want isn't stocked in my country?
Send us a product enquiry with the product's name or code and your country. We'll tell you what we can do, or point you to the closest product your local stockists carry.
Where can I find spare parts?
The Spares page lists genuine H&C spare parts, such as cartridges, aerators, handles and washers, with the products each one fits. Search by your product code to see the spares for it.
